Answer:

1. 7/p +4/q =11. 5/p-3/q=2

substitute values of p and q

7/1 +4/1 =11. 5/1-3/1 =2

7+4 =11. 5-3=2

11=11. 2=2

2. 8/x-2 +6/y-3 =7. [substitute the values given]

8/ 4-2 +6/5-3 =7

8/2 +6/2 =7

4+3=7

7=7

6/x-2 -8/y-3 =-1

6/ 4-2 -8/5-3 =-1

6/ 2 - 8/2=-1

3-4 =-1

-1 =-1

hope it's gonna help..

Answer: 1. 7/p+4/q=11

P=1

Q=1

In place of p and q substitute its value

7/1+4/1 = 11

In this the denominator is same so we can add it

7+4/1=11

5/p-3/q=2

Just like previous sum substitute the values

5/1-3/1

5-3/1=2

2. 8/x-2+6/y-3=7

X=4

Y=5

Substitute its value

8/4-2+6/5-3

8/2+6/2

Here the denominator is same. So add it.

14/2

We can cancel this in 2 table

=7.

6/x-2 - 8/y-3= -1

Just like above sum substitute its value.

6/4-2 - 8/5-3

6/2 - 8/2

The denominator are same. Hence subtract it.

= -2/2

= -1

Hence proved
