Hey friend,

The frictional force between box and ground = 70 N

Force which man is applying = 60 N

The frictional force is more than the force applied by man . And they are opposite in direction hence they will oppose each other .

The force with which the box will move = force applied - frictional force

= 60 - 70

= -10 N

This means that the box won't move at all.........

First of all we should talk about what is Friction ?

Friction is a force applied by the surface which opposed the motion of the body.

Now, your solution -

According to the question,

Frictional force = 70 N
Force applied by the man = 60 N

The frictional force is more than applied force and both are in opposite directions.

Therefore,
60 - 70 = -10N
It means that the body will not move, because the net resultant force is negative.
