• Sustainable Development : It is a form of development which tries to fulfill and mëët the present needs but meanwhile it doesn't compromise with the need of future. This is an eco - friendly way of development which doesn't cause any harm to the future generation. Production by mass is taken into consideration.

• Importance of Sustainable Development ::

>> Saves Resources - In today's generation, resources are used for mass production. Even many times, these resources are wasted. They are consumed on a very large scale even when there isn't any need of it. Sustainable Development checks this. It doesn't allows the waste of the resources. It consumes only the resources essential for development instead gives the full and efficient output causing a proper development. In this way resources are saved for future generations also.

>> Better Future Plans - When the resources are saved for future generation, many new better plans can be made for them. If the consumption of resources continues at the current pace, there won't be any resources left for the future generations. This can help to map the proper development in future. As well as check further developments so that next - to - next generation can be helpful. This means it's a continuous process that helps in proper development.

>> Avoids Global Warming - Global Warming is caused by excessive use of harmful and toxic resources which leads to emission of different types of gases which causes pollution of air, soil, water, etc. These in overall contribute in the increase of worldwide temperature. Sustainable Development avoids this situation. It promotes only eco friendly development. All these types of inputs are avoided so that no harmful output is produced. This helps to reduce global warming and make a safe environment.

>> Emphasises more on Organic Inputs - Nowadays chemical and artificial products have started ruling the market in variety of fields Sustainable Development helps to avoid these since they cause a lot of pollution. It emphasises more on organic form of inputs like oragnic manure instead of pesticides, jatropha oil in place of gasoline and engine oil, etc. This saves the resources also doesn't produces harmful and toxic residue. In this way it helps to save the environment from pollution.
