(b) identify the tooth and give a reason to support your answer

  • Different types of teeth have different no of roots

  • In this diagram the tooth has only one root so it must be an incisor or a canine

(c) describe the structure of the part labelled as 3

  • pulp is a soft area present at the center of the tooth
  • It containes nerves , blood vessels and lymph vessels
  • The root canal travel from the tip of the root to the pulp cavity

(d) give the total number of the type of tooth mentioned in one above in the mouth of an adult and state its functions
