Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2X-3/Y=9

multiply by "Y" on b.sides

2X-3=9Y....Eq 1

NOW.

3X+7/Y=2

multiply by "Y" on b.sides

3X+7=2Y...Eq 2

Now we have to eliminate one variable .

I am eliminating variable X ..

So ,I will multiply Eq 1 by 3/2 to each term .

3/2 x 2X +3 x 3/2 =9Y x 3/2

3X - 9/2 =27/2 Y

Now Subtracting the Eq 2 by the eq above

3X - 9/2=27/2Y

-3X - 7   =-2Y

----------------------

0X -23/2 =23/2 Y

-23/2 = 23/2 Y

multiply 2/23 on both sides

Y = -1

As we have the value of Y ...

Now putting this value of Y in Eq 1

2X - 3 = 9 Y    ..Y = -1

2X - 3 =9 (-1)

2X - 3 = -9

adding 3 on both sides

2X = -9 +3

2X = -6

dividing 2 on b.sides

X = -3

X = -3

So the required answer is

( X , Y ) = ( -3 , -1 )

...I hope it will be helpfull ...
