Answer:

Answer is Rs.1797 Or Rs.2175

Step-by-step explanation:

  • see , i dont think the Tax applied for central govt. is 27% , it should be Rs.27 due to printing mistake , because practically no one can afford a tax of 45% on any article.
  • But still i will answer for both conditions ,

Here , CG means central govt.

condition 1 = if the C.G. tax is 27%.

If the Tax for Central govt. is 27% , then=>

The GST paid by shopkeeper will be 18% of 1500 that is ,

1500 \times \frac{18}{100} = \: rs \: 270

and , the Tax paid for Central Govt. will be 27% of 1500 , that is

1500 \times \frac{27}{100} = rs \: 405

so , the total Tax will be

270 + 405 = 675 \: rs

so , the Shopkeeper has paid

1500 + 675 = 2175 \: rs

He purchased the article for Rs. 2175

Condition 2 = TAX PAID FOR CENTRAL GOVT. IS 27 Rs.

following the above method similarly and putting the C.G. tax as 27 RS Instead of 27 %

1500 + 27 = 1527 \: rs

therefore , net amount of article during purchasing the article will be Rs.1797

1527 + 270 = 1797 \: rs
