Power (P) =2kw =2000w

Power(P) in watts =J/s

1 watts = 1 J/s

Therefore , 2000w = 2000 J/s

One minute = 60 seconds

Power (P) is also given by

P= Work done ( W )/( t ).....( 1 )

w = mgh

Height (h) = 10m

g = 9.8m/s2

Applying all the above data in equation( 1 )

P=(m×9.8×10) / 60

Therefore, m = 1224.489 Kg

Thus , the electric pump can lift 1224.489 Kg , every minute to height of 10 m.
