What is the difference between solid and liquid pressure???

hey mate good afternoon ..ur answer is .
thus a pressure exerted by a solid .however a solid cann't create any pressure themselves unless any external force is applied ..
in case of liquid the area is large as liquid spreads but in solid area is constant .

deepak1615: In caseof liquid the area is large as liquid spreads, but in case of solid area is constant. So pressure exerted by liquid is smaller than pressure exerted by solid.
