 {\underline {\underline {\huge {\sf { Required \: Answer: } }}}}

Given:

• Mass of the body (m) = 50kg

• Area (A) = 5m²

• acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10m/s²

To calculate:

• Pressure exerted (P)

Calculation:

We know that,

  •  {\underline {\boxed {\large {\sf { Pressure(P) = \dfrac{Force(F)}{Area(A)} } }}}}

But how much force is applied isn't given so we'll calculate it first. We know that,

 {\underline {\boxed {\large {\sf { F = ma} }}}}

[ Where,

  • F ,force = ?
  • m, mass = 50kg
  • a or g = 10m/s²

⇢ F = 50 × 10

F = 500 N

Substitute the value of force and other given physical quantities in the formula of pressure:

 \sf {⇢ P = \dfrac{ F}{A} }

 \sf {⇢ P =\cancel{ \dfrac{ 500}{5} }}

 \boxed { \sf {⇢ P = 100 \: Pa}}

Therefore,pressure exerted by the body is 100 Pa.
