Answer:

x = 26°

by opposite angles property

y = 3x + 35

now since the lines AB and CD are parallel

thus

3x + 35 + 2x + 15 = 180

5x + 50 = 180

5x = 180 - 50

5x = 130

x = 130/5

x = 26° ans

Answer:

\huge\red{\boxed{\sf AnSwEr}}

Here AB || CD

So y=3x+35---(1) (Alternate interior angles )

and y+2x+15°=180° (Lines on same transversal)

y=180°-2x+15°

y=165-2x---------(2)

Equate (1) and (2)

3x+35=165-2x

5x=200

x=40°

Now put value of x in eq (1)

y=3×40+35

y=155°
