  • Kindly see the attachments for the required construct quadrilateral and the rhombus respectively according to the question series.

Question 1). Construct a quadrilateral TRUE in which TR = 3.5 cm, RU = 3 cm, UE = 4 cm, ∠R = 75° and U = ∠120°

Steps of constructions:

  • Step 1. Firstly draw a line segment as UE take it as 4 centimetres.
  • Step 2. Now make an angle of 120 degrees from the point U, extent it upwards.
  • Step 3. Now take it as point R and make it as 3 centimetres.
  • Step 4. Now from this point that is R make an angle of 75 degree, now extend.
  • Step 5. Now take it as 3.5 centimetres.
  • Step 6. Now joint the left point too that is TE.

WE get TRUE as quadrilateral.

Question 2). Construct a rhombus whose diagonal are 5.2 and 6.4 cm long.

Step of constructions:

  • Step 1. Draw AC ac 6.4 cm
  • Step 2. Bisect a line and extent up, take it from both A and C both upward and downward.
  • Step 3. Cut of 1/2 × 5.2 as 2.6 centimetres length to both the sides.
  • Step 4. Now join points AB, BC, CD, DA.

We get ABCD as rhombus.

Step 5. Now take it as 3.5 centimetres.

Step 6. Now joint the left point too that is TE.

WE get TRUE as quadrilateral.

Question 2). Construct a rhombus whose diagonal are 5.2 and 6.4 cm long.

Step of constructions:

Step 1. Draw AC ac 6.4 cm

Step 2. Bisect a line and extent up, take it from both A and C both upward and downward.

Step 3. Cut of 1/2 × 5.2 as 2.6 centimetres length to both the sides.

Step 4. Now join points AB, BC, CD, DA.

We get ABCD as rhombus.
