1.Deforestation means cutting down of trees or removal of forest cover.Deforestation leads to many ecological problems like:
a.in the absence of trees,soils are now loosely placed and can be easily eroded by any degrading agent.
b.Many ecological problems may rise like land degradation, ozone layer depletion, Global warming,environmental pollution,etc.

2.Ground water gets polluted by several means:
a.industrialization, b.Urbanization, c.excessive use of chemicals,fertilises, pesticides, d.Domestic sewage etc.

3.Excessive mining results in leaving deep scars of traces And over burdening,It bring up land degradation and causes harm to the environment.

4.Due to increasing demand of fossil fuels and their shortage have caused alarming situation all over the country to save these resources as they are non renewable leading to sign of danger for our Indian economy.
Therefore,there is pressing need to utilize renewable sources like Sun energy as a source of fuel and energy Because it is abundantly present in nature and also it does not cause any kind of pollution.Solar photovoltaic converts sunlight directly into Electricity.

5.We must segregate our domestic waste As they can be prove useful to us.
Domestic waste on composting can produce and become manure after few weeks
this reduces our dependence on Fertilizer, woods,etc.leading to saving our environment.

1> Deforestation means cutting of trees in a large scale by human activities. it affects environment in following ways are as follows:-
a) it imbalance ecosystem.
b) it may affect the lifes of living organisms.
c) animals need oxygen for their life if deforestation occur in a large amount , survival of living being will difficult on Earth.

2> Groundwater is getting polluted by the activities of human beings when man made products such as gasoline , oil , petrol, road salts and chemicals get in to groundwater causes the groundwater polluted.

3> there are some effects of excessive mining are as :-

1. It leads to the emission of dust, suspended particle and gases which cause air pollution.

2. Release of harmful trace element e.g., CO, Pb, Cd etc. leads to the contamination of surface water.

3 mining may lead to degradation of soil which may affect the plant's life.


4> Yes , I m agree with the statement "solar energy is often called the energy of future" because according to our today's environment human started using energy sources in very ridiculous way. they are wasting the energy sources fir their personal meanings.
thus , in future it is difficult to say that the energy sources which we have today carry on with us in future. so solar energy can be declared as "energy of future".

5> we must segregated domestic waste because it help us to maintain our personal hygiene. it makes our survival on earth easy and clean.it is also cheaper so we can segregate domestic waste.
