Final velocity (v ) = 0 m/s

We know,

v = u + at

0 = 0.5 + (-0.05 * t)

- 0.5 = - 0.05t

or, t = 0.5 / 0.05

or, t = 10 s

Hence, It takes 10 seconds for body to stop.
