Answer:

(a) 38.8m/s

(b) 60.5 m/s

(c) 307.83 m

Explanation:

(a) To convert kmph to m/s^2 multiply the value in kmph by 5/18

Here,

140*5/18=38.8 m/s

(b) to find velocity of car at the end of 6.2 sec use formula "v=u+at"

By using the formula in this case we get,

v=38.8+(3.5)*(6.2)=60.5 m/s

(c) To calculate distance use the formula "s=(u)*(t)+(1/2)*(a)*(t^2)"

by using this formula in this question we get,

s=(38.8)*(6.2)+(1/2)*(3.5)*(6.2)^2=307.83 m

Hope it helps!
