HEY THERE!!

Let's analyze the given data:

Initial position = i + 3j

Final position = 2i + 4j

So, displacement = Final position - Initial position

S = (2-1)i + (4-3)j

= i + j

Magnitude of Displacement = √2m

Force F = 3i + 5j

Magnitude of Force = √34

Angle between force and displacement:

F.S = FScosθ

=> cos θ = (3i + 5j) (i + j) / √2 x √34

=> cos θ = 8/8.2

=> θ = cos⁻¹(1)

=> θ = 0°

Hence, displacement is in the direction of force,

And Work done = F.S

= (i + j) (3i + 5j)

= 8 J

THANKS!
