active - The subject of the sentence performs the action in the sentence
passive - the subject of the sentence has an action done to it by someone or something else

active sentence are the sentences that are written directly , and in a simple way ..
for ex- he eats food
this is a simple sentence that has subject on the first position , verb on the second and there is object on the last one
while.---------
passive sentences are written indirectly i.e. in an indirect way
for ex- food is eaten by him
in this sentence we firstly placed the object than the helping verb > main verb than a connector ( that is necessary ) and at the last we have our subject... ...
