☆ To Verify:-

▪︎ Sum of zeroes

= coefficient of x/coefficient of x² (-b/a)

▪︎ Product of zeroes

= constant term/coefficient of x² (c/a).

☆ Given:-

=》5y×y + 10y.

= 5y² + 10y.

= 5y(y + 2) = Factors.

☆ Therefore,

=》 5y(y + 2) = 0

=》 Either

=》 5y = 0

=》 y = 0/5.

{\large{\blue{\boxed{\bold{=》\:y\:=\:0.}}}}}

▪︎ Or,

=》 y+2 = 0.

=》 y = 0-2.

{\large{\blue{\boxed{\bold{=》\:y\:=\:-2.}}}}}

Therefore the zeroes are 0 and -2.

{\red{\large{\underline{\underline{Verification:-}}}}}

Here,

▪︎ Sum of zeroes,

= -2+0

{\large{\orange{\boxed{\bold{=\:-2.}}}}}

And

-b/a

= -(10/5)

{\large{\orange{\boxed{\bold{=\:-2.}}}}}

▪︎ So, sum of zeroes

= -b/a.

Again,

▪︎ Product of zeroes,

= 0×(-2).

{\large{\orange{\boxed{\bold{=\:0.}}}}}

▪︎ And,

c/a

= 0/5

{\large{\orange{\boxed{\bold{=\:0.}}}}}

▪︎ So product of zeroes = c/a.
