$5x - 3 = 2x + 5 \\ 5x - 2x = 5 + 3 \\ 3x = 8 \\ x = \frac{8}{3}$
∴ On number line there is only one solution i.e.
$x = \frac{8}{3}$
And cartesian plane also has one solution i.e.
[(8/3),0]
