Explanation:

first find acceleration,

v=u+at

12m/s=2m/s+a×10s

10a=12-2m/s

10a=10m/s

a=1m/s^2

now,

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=2m/s×10+1/2×1×10^2

s=20m/s+1/2×100

s=20m+50m

s=70m

hope this helps!

Answer:

we know,

s=ut + 1/2at^2

initial velocity = u = 2m/s

final velocity = v = 12m/s

time taken = 10 seconds

acceleration= v-u/t

=12-2/10

=1

=1 m/s^2

so,

S= 2×10 + 1/2×1 ×12^2

=20+ 1/2×1×10^2

=20+1/2×1 ×100...(2will cancel hundred as 50×2 =100)

=20+50

=70

so the distance is 70 m.
