Assuming the chocolate to be 1 unit as a whole

When it was divided among the 3 friends, then each friend got

= 1/3

Then The 3rd friend decided to share his part with 4 of his cousins. This means that the cousins received 1/4th part of the 1/3rd part he had.

Each cousin gets = (1/4)(1/3)

                            = 1/12

So each cousin got 1/12th part of the chocolate.

Hope It Helps !!!!!!
