ANSWER : option 'A' is correct

If a and b are any two distinct positive rational numbers such that ab is not a perfect square , then the irrational number √ab lies between a and b.

so, irrational number between 2 and 2.5 is

= √(2 x 2.5) = √5

and the other rational number can be found between 2 and √5

= √(2 x √5)

Hence, Irrational number between 2 and 2.5 are

√5 and √(2 x √5) option A is correct
