In order to find the Quantity of Milk that can be stored in the Tank, We need to Notice that Litre is the Unit of Volume. So, First we need to find the Volume of the Milk Tank. Because Volume of the Tank gives us how many Litres of Milk the Tank can Store.

Given : The Milk Tank is in the form of Cylinder

We know that, Volume of Cylinder is given by : πr²h

Where : r and h are Radius and Height of the Cylinder respectively

Given : Radius of the Tank : 1.5 m and Height of the Tank : 7 m

⇒ Volume of the Milk Tank : π(1.5)²(7)

⇒ Volume of the Milk Tank \bold{= \frac{22}{7}(1.5)^2(7) = 22(1.5)^2}

⇒ Volume of the Milk Tank = 22(2.25) = 49.5 m³

We know that : One m³ = 1000 Litre

⇒ Volume of the Milk Tank = (49.5 × 1000) = 49500 Litres

⇒ The Quantity of Milk that can be Stored in Tank = 49500 Litres
