Please help me to solve this please guys you are higher level students this is 8 class question.

My father's age 5 years ago +twice my age now give 65. My age 5 years ago +3 times my father's age now gives 130. What is my father's age?

present age of son/daugther be 'y'

given, 5yr ago, father's age plus twice present age of son/daughter is 65yr

(x-5)+2y=65

(x+2y)=70-----------------(1)

also given,son/daughter's age 5yr ago plus father's present age=130

(y-5)+3x=130

(3x-y)=135----------------(2)

multiply eq(1) by 3 and subtract eq(1) and eq(2)

3x+6y=210

3x+y=135

5y=75

y=15

put 'y' value in eq(1)

x+2(15)=70

x+30=70

x=70-30

x=40yr
