August 12, 2018, Kochi: One of the most destructive floods in fast few decades has hit the southern state Kerala.

The copious rainfall which started on August 8 is considered as the major reason of it.

The major dams are overflowed.

The authority is compelled to open the gates to keep these dams safe.

Approximately 380 people have lost their lives in the flood so far.

Many people become homeless. Normal life is totally disturbed in the state.
