Heya friend,
Here's your answer,
DEBATE - SHOULD RESERVATION SYSTEM BE CONTINUED IN INDIA?
That's one of the most burning topic of India today. The consequences of this system could easily be seen recently in the areas of Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. But do we really know the basic cause of this reason? Were the people fighting for reservation doing justice to the General caste? Why does the government infer this to others?
The only reason for this reservation was that initially the people belonging to the lower castes were not given proper treatment. They were considered as untouchables. And this kind of treatment could also be seen in the public buildings, manifestations and the educational institutions too. Hence, the government gave them certain reservations in almost every field.
But now, the condition of the SCs and STs has greatly changed. They are not treated the way they were in earlier times. Now, they are given proper treatment and are treated like mates. But still, even after this change in the Indian society, they are getting reservations. And the condition is as if, a person from the General caste gets 92%, still he does not get admission in the government university, while if the individual is of SC and ST caste and secures 40%, he easily gets reservation. Isn't that unfair to the good students? Does not it hurts to those who secured 98% and had to wake up day and night to study, and they find a person belonging to ST with just 35% marks sitting in front of them? Isn't that unjustice to our country?
Why do individuals don't want to do hardwork? What wrong had the government done when they decided to abolish reservation? Why were they condemned on doing so? That's just because the SCs and STs feel that when they get admission easily on securing 40% marks, what is the need to study more? They believe, and they know that the government would not leave them. The only reason is that the government wants votes. And when they know that more than half of the country is filled with these SCs n STs, why would they take any action against them that would lead to their loss of votes? Of course, they won't, and that's what they do. They are not saying anything in this matter, just because they want the favour of those lower class people.
But what about the general class? What about us? What about that when we work hard day and night to attain perfection and get 96-98% and are disqualified in the universities? Just because, that's the least cutoff mark. Let's take an example. In the DU cut off marks 2017, the required marks for General class was 94.66% in the XII examination while it was only 68% for the STs. Is that fair? Is this justice to the General class? Now, what's wrong in this if the General class revolts? Why does the SCs and STs have issues then? Why can't they focus on equality? Why can't they manage to do hardwork?
We need a change. We need justice. We need equality. We want the reservations to be banned. We want the government to take actions against this. We want everybody to work equally. When everybody enjoys same fundamental rights, we want that every body should be reservation deprived and do equal work. We don't want this caste system to be only on papers, we want it to be implemented too....
WE WANT JUSTICE TO ALL INDIANS!!! DO YOU ALL AGREE WITH ME? AM I WRONG? AM I UNFAIR?
MERIT SHOULD ONLY BE THE BASIS OF EDUCATION.....
Thanks!!!
Hope this helps!!!
