The format of a diary entry-
 
At the top left mention the Date
                                          day
                                          time
Then mention,Salutation to your diary,e.g. Dear Diary,
                                        Then address yourself
In the next paragraph share your experiences about the project
Then mention what you have done for that.
At last greet your Diary,e.g. Bye Bye, Good Night,Take care.

Some of the rules to follow while writing a diary are-
                           1.use the appropriate tense.
                           2.Write the truth. 
                           3.Don't add any unnatural emotions.
                           4.Re-read your diary.
                           5.Make it a hobby or atleast a habit.
