Answer:

Let the SP of article be rs x

SP = (P%+100)/100×CP

SP = (25+100)/100×880

SP = 125/100×880

SP = Rs 1100

Shopkeeper allows a discount of 12%

It means that after allowing the discount of 12% on the price of the article the new price will become Rs 1100

Let the price be a

a - 12a/100 = 1100

88a/100=1100

a = 110000/88 = Rs1250.

Answer:

C.P. = Rs.1200 S.P. = 125% of Rs.1200 = Rs. (

100

125

Let marked price be Rs.x Then 80% of x =1500

⇒x=(

1500×100

)=Rs.1875

∴ Marked price = Rs. 1875
