BQ= BR & CP= CQ

( the length of two tangent from an external pt to a circle are equal )

CP = 11cm

CQ= 11cm

BC = 7cm

CQ= BC+ BQ

BQ= CQ- BC

= 11- 7

= 4cm

we know that BQ = BR

BR=4cm

AB =2×BR

= 2×4

=8cm

hope it's helped you......

ishirana: we know that CP =CQ so AP =BQ
ishirana: BQ=BR & AP= AR
ishirana: therefore BR= AR
ishirana: AB = AR+BR
ishirana: AB =2BR
