Given the length of the courtyard = 3.78m = 378 cm.

           the broad of the courtyard = 5.25m = 525cm.

GCF of 378 = 2 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 7

GCF of 525 = 3 * 5 * 5 * 7

The GCF of 378 and 525 = 3 * 7

                                           = 21.

Therefore the largest size of the tile = 21 cm (or) 0.21m.

The number of tiles used = (378 * 525)/(21 * 21)

                                          = 450.

Therefore the number of tiles used = 450.

Hope this helps!
