HI USER

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

ALPHA+BETA=-b/a

ALPHA+BETA=-(-5/1)

ALPHA+BETA=5.....(1)

ALSO,

ALPHA-BETA=1....(2)

ADDING BOTH THE EQUATIONS,

2ALPHA=6

ALPHA=6/2

ALPHA=3(putting this value in eq1)

WE GET,

3+BETA=5

BETA=5-3

BETA=2

NOW USING THE FORMULA:

ALPHA*BETA=c/a

3*2=k/1

6=k

SO,VALUE OF 'K' IS '6'

HOPE IT MAY HELPS UH

Solution-

f(x) = x² -5x + k

let \:  \alpha \:  and \:  \beta  \: are \: zeros \: \:  \\  of \: plynomial

 \alpha   \: +  \:  \beta  =  - ( - 5)

 \alpha  \:  -  \beta  \: =  1

 \alpha  =  \: 3 \\  \\  \beta  = 2

We know that Product of roots= C/a

 \alpha   \: \times  \:  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}  \\  \\ 3 \:   \times 2 =  k

 k = 6 \:
