Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{(x + 6)}{4}  +  \frac{(x - 3)}{5}  =  \frac{(5x - 4)}{8}

 \frac{5(x + 6) + 4(x - 3)}{20}  =  \frac{(5x - 4)}{8}

5x + 30 + 4x - 12 =   \frac{4(5x - 4)}{2}

10x + 60 + 8x  - 24 = 25x - 20

18x + 36 = 25x - 20

36 + 20 = 25x - 18x

56 = 7x

x =  \frac{56}{7}

x = 8

\boxed{\textbf{\large{x = 8}}}
