i)

$7 {p}^{3} + 21 {p}^{2} = 0$

Please mind the cube as I am unable to use the formula tab everytime.

7p3 = -21p2

$p = \frac{ - 21}{7}$

ii)

$3 {a}^{2} - 10a = - 8$
