In the question,
It is given that the difference of circumference and radius of the circle is 37 cm.
From the properties of circle, we know :
Circumference of circle = 2πr, where r is the radius of the circle.
Now,
According to the question :
= > Circumference of the circle - radius of the circle = 37 cm
From above, circumference of circle is 2πr, where r is the radius of the circle.
Then, let the radius of the circle is a cm,
So,
= > 2πa - a = 37 cm
= > a( 2π - 1 ) = 37 cm
Note : π =
Therefore the radius of of the circle is 7 cm.

Circumference=2πr
Radius=r
Difference=37cm
2πr-r=37
Taking r common
r(2π-1)=37
r(2×22/7-1)=37
r(44/7-1)=37
r(44-7/7)=37
r(37/7)=37
r=37×7/37
r=7cm
Hence radius=7cm
Radius=r
Difference=37cm
2πr-r=37
Taking r common
r(2π-1)=37
r(2×22/7-1)=37
r(44/7-1)=37
r(44-7/7)=37
r(37/7)=37
r=37×7/37
r=7cm
Hence radius=7cm
