Step-by-step explanation:

BCEF is a parallelogram

ACDF is a rectangle

so , first of all AC = DF ( opposite sides of a rectangle are equal )

AC = 10cm ; so BC= 7cm

Now, BC = EF (opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal)

EF = 7 cm

looking into the triangle ECD

CD = 5 cm ( given) is the height of the triangle.

Height of triangle = Height of parallelogram

Area of parallelogram = base x height

EF × CD

(7 × 5 ) cm^2

= 35 cm^2.

thankyou
