Hey ...
The lateral surface area of a cylinder is equal to the circumference of the base multiplied by the height of the cylinder

Here... Circumference = 176 cm = 1.76 m
Height = 1 m = 100 cm
Now.. Mind the Units
If the lateral surface area is ask in cm^2 then take both the units in cm and if it is asked in metres then take both the units in metres

Lateral Surface Area in cm^2
= 176 × 100 = 17600cm^2
Lateral Surface Area in m^2
= 1.76 × 1 = 1.76 m^2
