1)x+90°=180° (linear pair)

x=180°-90°

x=90°

and z+30° =180°(linear pair)

z=180°-30°

z=150°

and y =90°+30°=120°

( exterior angle is the sum of opposite interior angles)

2) we know that sum of all angles in a quadrilateral is 360°

Let A=x°,B=70°,C=90°,D=60°

Since the linear pair of the angle C is 90 ° is given in the figure

now ,

x°+70°+90°+60°=360°

=>x°+220°=360°

=>x=360°-220°

=>x=140°
