First let's understand what are co - prime numbers :

co - prime numbers, also known as relatively prime or mutually prime numbers, is a set of number Or integers which have only 1 as their common factor i. e. their HCF (Highest common Factor) will be 1 .

(I) 343 and 1000

  • Factors of 343 ➜ 1, 7 , 49
  • Factors of 1000 ➜ 1, 2, 4, 5 , 8, 10, 20, 25 , 40 , 50, 100, 125 , 200, 250 , 500 ,1000

Now we can see that 343 and 1000 has only 1 as their common factor, so it is they are co prime number.

(ii) 616 and 1288

  • Factors of 616 ➜ 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 22, 28, 44, 56, 77, 88, 154, 308 and 616.
  • Factors of 1288 ➜ 1, 2,4,7,8,14,23,28,46,56,92,161,184,322,644

we can see that there are many common factors apart from 1 , so they are not co prime numbers.

(iii) 169 and 950

  • Factors of 169➜ 1, 13, 169
  • Factors of 950 ➜1, 2, 5, 10, 19, 25, 38, 50, 95, 190, 475 and 950.

Here, we can see that 619 and 950 have only 1 as their common factor, so, they are co prime numbers.

(iv) 1386 and 3168

  • Factors of 1386 ➜ 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 18, 21, 22, 33, 42, 63, 66, 77, 99, 126, 154, 198, 231, 462, 693.
  • Factors of 3168 ➜ 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 22, 24, 32, 33, 36, 44, 48, 66, 72, 88, 96, 99, 132, 144, 176, 198, 264, 288, 352, 396, 528, 792, 1056, 1584.

Here, we can see that 1386 and 3168 have many common factors apart from 1 .

Therefore they are not co prime numbers.

Therefore,

(i)343 and 1000

(iii) 169 and 950

are co prime pair numbers
