Given,
1. Initial Volume of cylinder (v) = 50 mL
After stone was dipped,
Final Volume of cylinder (V) = 70 mL
∴ V-v = Volume of Stone
= (70-50) mL
= 20 mL
or,
= 20 cm³ [because 1 mL is equal to 1 cm³]
2. If the metallic ball displaces 10 mL of water then it's own volume must be 10 mL or, 10 cm³ only.
