Answer:

container 2 can hold 290ml more water than container 1

Explanation:

Given

For container 1

length=9cm

breath=6cm

height=5cm

For container 2

length=8cm

breath=7cm

height=10cm

Solution

volume of container 1

volume \: of \: container \: 1

 = 9 \times 6 \times 5

 = 270 {cm}^{3}

volume \: of \: container \: 2

 = 8 \times 7 \times 10

560  {cm}^{3}

volume \: of \: container \: 1 < volume \: of \: container \: 2

volume \: of \: container \: 1 = 270 {cm}^{3}

 container \: 1  \: can \: hold= 270 ml

volume \: of \: containr \: 2 = 560 {cm}^{3}

container \: 2 \: can \: hold \:  = 560ml

560 - 270 = 290

Therefore container 2 can hold 290ml more water than container 1
