Solution :-

Let the length of the rectangle be l

And the breadth be b

According to the given problem,

And perimeter = 112m

$\sf\implies 2(l + b) = 112$

$\sf\implies 2(2b - 16 + b) = 112 \qquad (from \: (1))$

$\sf\implies b \: = 24m \:$

And,

$\sf\implies l = 32m \:$
