 \frac{19}{6}

Step by step

5 \frac{3}{6}  =  \frac{33}{6}

2 \frac{1}{3}  =  \frac{7}{3}

LCM of 6 and 3 = 6

 \frac{33}{6}  =  \frac{33}{6}  \\ (as \: the \: denominator \: are\: equal \:

 \frac{7}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =   \frac{14}{6}

SO,,,,,,

 \frac{33}{6}  -  \frac{14}{6}

 \frac{33 - 14}{6}

which is equal to

 \frac{19}{6}
