Answer:

a) The part marked as 3 is know as Vena Cava it carries the deoxygenated blood from the various parts of the body. It is divided into two types inferior vena cava and superior vena cava.

The superior vena cava bring the deoxygenated blood from the top/upper part of the body.

The inferior vena cava brings the deoxygenated blood from the bottom/lower part of the body to the heart.

Both the vena cavas enter the heart through thr right atrium .

b) The main artery which carries the blood from heart to the various parts of body is known as aorta it carries the oxygenated blood from the left ventrical when the left ventrical contracts opening the aortic valve pumping the blood out of heart. They have thick elastic walls as the blood flows under high pressure. They get divided into various small arteries and these arteries get divided into capalleries to supply blood to tissues.

c) The deoxygenated blood is received into the heart by the right atrium . Then the blood is pushed into the right ventrical by the compression of right atrium and the opening the tricuspid valve and then the right ventrical compresses to push the blood into pulmonary artery by the opening of pulmonary valve to send for oxygenation in the lungs.

 \huge \sf answer

The parts that are given form 1 to 6 are,

1. Arota.

2. Pulmonary artery

3. Vena cava

4. Pericardium.

5. Left ventricle.

6. Right ventricle.

Your answer to the questions given below,

a) The part marked as 2 is helps in the transport of de-oxygenated blood to the lungs where they pass near the alveoli and the oxygen in the alveoli diffuses into the blood and then this oxygenated blood is then bought back to the left atrium and then with the help of the Left AV valve that is the " left atrioventricular valve" from which the blood is pumped through the body.

b) The main artery that takes the blood from the hear to different parts of the body is called the Arota .It is the largest valve in the heart.

✭ The Aota has a diameter of about 2.5 cm and a wall of about 2 mm in thickness.

c) The chamber of the heart which receives the de-oxygenated blood is called the Right atrium. The right side carries the de-oxygenated blood and the left side has the oxygenated blood. The de-oxygenated blood that is received by the right atriumis is then transferred to the right ventricle through a valve called the right atrioventricular valve. Then the blood is pumped to the lungs.
