Since wehave from the knowledge of Co-Ordinate geometry (that I supposed you have it haha joking if you haven't it you have not asked it) we have formulae naming section formula whose statement is like this :

if any point P(x,y) divides the line segment between two points A(a,b) and B(c,d) in ration m:n then its Co-Ordinates is given by :

x = (mc+na)/(m+n) ...(1)

y = (md+nb)/(m+n) ...(2)

now since above question exactly fits with the statement of this formulae with some information that:

m = 3

n = 5

a = 9

b = -16

c = -15

d = 8

*(now I assume that you would put the required value in formulae ...(1) and ...(2) and do some easy calculations that you must have to do to run your brain please Co-Operate with me if rude i am sorry for it)*

you'll get your answer as:

x = 0

y = -7

*(also for my calculation)
