MgO + H₂SO₄ → MgSO₄ + H₂O

mass of MgO = 24 + 16 = 40 g

mass of H₂SO₄ = 2 + 32+ 16× 4 = 98 g

MgO formed in above reaction = 3.34 g

40 g MgO reacts with → 98 g H2SO4

1 g MgO reacts with → 98/40 g H2SO4

3.34 g MgO reacts with → 98/40 × 3.34 = 6.81 g H2SO4
