Please help me with this Physics question
if 3000 tons of water falls from 10 m high dam in one minute, then calculate the equivalent power if all its energy is utilised. ( 1 ton = 1000 kg and 1 MW = 10^6 W )
options are:
3.0 W
4.5 W
4.9 MW
3.5 MW

Given,

Height of fall h=20m

Mass of water m=2000tonnes=2000000kg

Time t=1min=60s

We know,

Power=work done per unit time.

Work done=mgh

               =2000000×10×20

               =400000000

So,the power=60400000000

                    =6.67×106 W
