x2+x+3

sum of zeroes = a +b=-b/a

=-1/1

product of zeroes =ab=c/a

=3/1

now, a^2+b^2

(a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab

(-1)^2=a^2+b^2+2×3

1=a^2+b^2+6

a^2+b^2=-5

Answer:

sum of zeroes is alpha + beta = -b/a

product of zeroes is alpha×beta=c/a

here a=1 b=1 and c=3

so alpha + beta=-1/1=-1

and alpha×beta=3/1=3

put these values in the following equation you will get respective answers
