Answer:

a) Let the ratio 8:3:1 = 8x , 3x, x

8x + 3x + x = 30 kg

12x = 30 kg

x = 30 / 12

x = 5/2

Hence x = 2.5

Corn = 3x = 3 × 2.5 = 7.5 kg
