Step-by-step explanation:

Question :

To find the multiplicative inverse of :

 \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{  - 4}{9}

Understanding :

What is multiplicative inverse?

=>As the name suggests, multiplicative inverse is when we inverse the number. For ex. if it's 6 then the inverse will be 1/6. If it's 5/6 then the inverse will be 6/5. Basically we inverse the number or the fraction given.

=> In this question first we will solve the question and when the answer will come we will do the multiplicative inverse of it and the answer will come.

Solution :

 =  >  \frac{ 1}{3}  \times  \frac{ - 4}{9}

 =  >  \frac{1 \times  - 4}{3 \times 9}

 =  >  \frac{ - 4}{27}

Multiplicative inverse is :

27 ans...

-4

Note :

The negative sign does not change if it's with denominator then when we do the inverse it remains with the numerator. Like if it's -3/6 it will be 6/-3 not -6/3 .

Hope it helps you!!

Thank you !!
