Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

(7x+14)/3 - (17-3x)/5 = 6x -(4x+2)/3 -5

To find :-

Find the value of the given equation

(7x+14)/3 - (17-3x)/5 = 6x -(4x+2)/3 -5

Solution:-

Given that

(7x+14)/3 - (17-3x)/5 = 6x -(4x+2)/3 -5

LCM of 3 and 5 = 15

[5(7x+14)-3(17-3x)]/15=[3(6x)-(4x+2)-5(3)]/3

=> [35x+70-51+9x]/15=[18x-4x-2-15]/3

=> (44x+19)/15 = (14x-17)/3

On applying cross multiplication then

=>3(44x+19)=15(14x-17)

=> 44x+19 = 5(14x-17)

=> 44x+19 = 70x-85

=> 44x-70x = -85-19

=>-26x=-104

=>x=-104/-26

=> x = 104/26

=>x = 4

Answer:-

The value of X = 4 for the given problem

Check:-

If x=4 ,LHS:-

(7x+14)/3 - (17-3x)/5

=> (7×4+14)/3 -(17-3×4)/5

=> (28+14)/3 -(17-12)/5

=> 42/3 - 5/5

=>14-1

=>13

LHS=13----(1)

RHS:-

6x -(4x+2)/3 -5

=>6×4-(4×4+2)/3-5

=>24-(16+2)/3-5

=>24-(18/3)-5

=>24-6-5

=>24-11

=>13

RHS=13----(2)

From (1)&(2)

LHS=RHS is true for x=4
