You have to plot the points on a graph paper

First make equations from each given equation

5x-y=7

5x=7+y

X=(7+y)/5

Now select those values of y so that you can get plottable points of x

Y=-2

x=(7-2)/5=1

Y=3

X=2

Then make a table of values

And then draw the line of the equation on graph

Do the same for the second one too

You will get a figure of some shape after drawing the likes of both equations

Then use the formula to find the area of that shape
